Hey everyone! My name is Dawson Hancock, and I am the owner of Elite Edge Finishings. I wanted to take a minute and tell you why I started this company.

Even though I didn’t fully realize it until a couple of years ago, I love working with my hands. I enjoy taking a raw material, like wood, and using it to transform and beautify a space, especially someone’s home. When I build something beautiful, and stand back to look at it, I find great satisfaction is knowing that I have put my hands to good work, that will be enjoyed by my clients.

But more than any of that, I work to bring glory to God. He created this world to be beautiful, and I believe it points people towards Him when we create beautiful things with what we are given. Whether that’s an elaborate accent wall that makes a statement, or a simple door casing that invites people from one room to the next, doing these things with the aim to honor Him in our work will always bring about the best results.
